FAQs
Padel Clubs and Facilities
Are there padel courts or clubs near me?
Please check our ‘Where to Play’ page on this website.
How can I start a Padel club?
– PAC strongly recommends that you only work with a court manufacturer that provides courts that adhere to the FIP Standards of Play, located here.
– PAC strongly recommends that you only work with a court builder or installation company that is bonded, licensed, insured, and legally able to work in Canada as a licensed contractor. Failure to do so may jeopardize your club’s ability to get insurance or be covered against future insurance claims. Failure to do so may also jeopardize your clubs chances of having it’s construction permits approved by the local government building department.
– Explore various funding options (loans, investments, etc.) to secure the necessary capital.
– Join the corresponding PAC affiliated Provincial Association as a member club for benefits like tournament hosting and club visibility.
Please note that PAC does not offer direct assistance with construction.
Working in Padel in Canada
Can Padel Canada help me find a padel job in Canada?
PAC does not directly offer job placements or employ any coaches. We recommend you check out our ‘Where to Play’ pages on this website and contact clubs directly about potential employment opportunities.
Can PAC sponsor my visa?
PAC does not directly sponsor visas. However, if you have secured employment with a club sponsor and have an immigration attorney, we may be able to provide an advisory letter to support your visa application. This will depend on your qualifications.
PAC Player Licenses
I need help renewing my PAC Player License.
You can purchase and/or renew your license on the PAC site.
I'm having technical issues with the PAC License on the RedPADEL site (login, password reset, etc.).
Please contact WPR-World Padel Rating support directly via their website support system.
I'm having trouble entering a tournament, and the deadline is approaching.
You must register on the World Padel Rating website, if you continue to have technical difficulties:
• Contact WPR support immediately on the WPR website.
• Contact the tournament director. They can manually enter you, but they must enter you under the name that matches your WPR profile and Padel Canada membership email to avoid ranking issues.
