Board

Our Board of Directors consists of elected members who volunteer their time and knowledge to set the association’s vision and direction.  These dedicated individuals come from various backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience to the leadership table.

Board applications are taken in the first quarter of each year in advance of the Annual General Meeting.  Once the application period has closed, PAC members are called upon to vote on who will be the board members for the upcoming term.

Nancy Malone

Nancy Malone

Nancy‘s 20+ year career has focused on association management roles – in oil and gas, construction equipment and now agriculture equipment.
She grew up playing competitive tennis in Saskatchewan and played college tennis at Berry College in Rome, Georgia.  After coaching for a time, she started her ‘real’ career and began to leave tennis behind.  In 2006, she was introduced to padel and has never looked back.
Nancy represented Canada at the 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2014 World Championships, and has had the great privilege to play in many countries around the world.  She volunteered on the (shared) boards of Padel Alberta and Padel Canada on and off in her early years in the community, and has now been on the Board in various roles since 2017.
She believes the best part of volunteering has been meeting all the new community members and finally seeing the sport grow across the country.  For too long, padel was limited to one city.  A truly national community is taking root and joining the rest of the world in pursuing the passion of padel.
